    DefaultEnder's belly bump

Ok, this is bugging me. I noticed a bump on Ender's chest/belly area on his left side just before I left for NYC last week and left him with YellowLabProject (who was an amazing Ender-sitter btw). When I got back, I noticed it was bigger than the walnut-sized bump it was before. Not it's about golf-ball sized. It's hard, not squishy, or soft. It doesn't seem to irritate him when I touch or feel it. He hasn't been acting TOO much stranger than usual lately (aside from peeing on my leg just before leaving him with YellowLabProject...grrrr). He seems a little mopy over the last two days except when he's on his walks. I can't for the life of me think of what it could be and it's got me worried. I'm taking him into the vet tomorrow to get it checked out. I just wonder if anyone has any insight so I can sleep a little better tonight.

Sounds like this could be a lipoma (growth of fat cells) and that's what's most likely. But since it might be a tumor, a visit to the vet is needed. Let us know what you find out, Ed.

Agree with Bob, Eric, it's probably a lipoma, but your vet will be able to tell for sure. Henry had one last year, no biggie. Keep us updated about Ender!

Can't get him in until Thursday afternoon. Doing some research I'm at least comforted that it's most likely a fatty lump. He's acting normal, but he's getting the full treatment to make sure.

In my experience fatty tumors are moveable. I call them floaters. Can be moved slightly from side to side. They are not hard.

I would have the vet aspirate the lump to be sure.

I hope you got it checked out. Nellie's sarcoma was a walnut sized hard, nonmoving lump.
