This subject has come up on occasion. On last nights news they did a piece on a genetic test the U of MN has developed. The claim was that it is the only place this test is done. Posting a link to the information if anyone is interested.

Yep, the U of MN-VDL has filed patent papers. Meaning, if the test is patented, they are the only ones who can perform it. It's nothing new, similar DNA tests are also patented (such as Optigen & CNM).Originally Posted by Endofile
