DefaultWhen to switch to adult food

I'm sure this answer has been answered time and time again, but to be bluntly honest, I'm really lazy tonight and I don't feel like searching. I just need to know when I should switch odie from puppy food to adult food. Right now he's on Pro Plan puppy food, and he's about to turn 10 months old. I'm assuming I won't have to worry about changing it until he's at least a year old, but I want to know, because when the time nears, I'm gonna buy a smaller bag of puppy food so I don't end up wasting a bunch when the time to switch comes. So when did everybody switch over?

I've been thinking the same thing myself Scoper with Milly almost at 9 months of age now.

But I must be confused, I always thought Odie was on raw?

We were actaully talking about this yesterday when we went to petco for Denalis food...he has been on wellness puppy for a while and yesterday we found they make a puppy large breed and it says up 1year so. He is 9 months now and we are going to keep him on this style of puppy till a year old then make the switch over to the adult Wellness...then you have to decide which one of the adult foods its going to be. So many choices I wish sometimes Denali could speak up and say "HEY mom and dad get me that stuff I really like that one" it would help us a lot!

For me the earliest I will switch is 9 months but I tend to wait for 11 months.
I don't do a gradual, I just switch since I am staying within the same brand.

I'm another early switcher and do it around 4-5 months. My monsters are going to be 4 months next week and they're just starting their last 40lb bag of puppy food.

I asked Leader Dog once when they recommend it. They do it at about 4 months too, so that's usually when I switch mine over to adult.
