I'm looking for breeders in Colorado. I'm not going to be ready to bring one home until February, but I'd like to start looking around now.
Also, and more important at this moment, I'm curious if there are any resources that I can look into to learn what I should be looking for in a breeder. I have no idea what to watch out for or what qualities to look for. If anyone has any tips or recommended resources I'd really appreciate it!
Yes, contact the LRCGD. Most of the better breeders in the state belong to the club and let the board members know when litters are available. I sold quite a few of my chocolate puppies earlier this year through referrals from the club.
