    DefaultEating Dirt

My two have been pawing up grass and licking and chewing on the dirt underneath :suspious:
Would this be normal?????? I haven't noticed it before.

I have caught mine a couple of times eating potting soil or cow manure. I don't this it is uncommon - but maybe it is a way to acquire some minerals???

They might be in need of some minerals. What are you feeding them? You might want to add missing link to there food it will add minerals to there food and my guys coats look good on it.

Rocky's a big dirt eater. I prefer that to poop to be honest (which he is eats big time). He started at around 2 years of age and is showing no signs of stopping. At least it's better now, it's worse in the spring.

In our case I don't see it being food. He's on Orijen, we were on Performatrin when he started and are trying Evo now

Ya know....I never thought of it being their food, but it might be. I've got them on a grain-free TOTW brand. They really love it (no more hand feeding) (okay, maybe sometimes ) but I have had no problems at all.
Actually, dirt is not the only thing they have been eating. Just
    different! It's usally horse poop
The dirt thing is really new though and I am concerned of it.
