    DefaultIntestinal Parasites, yuck!

Help! I have had Brody for 2 months now and I am still seeing small white "worms" in his droppings. I have treated him twice with over the counter medicine that is specifically for various types of worms ie; pin, hook etc. and they seem to go away, but reappear within 2 weeks.
Brody has a great appetite and the only symptom seems to be licking "down under". How do I eradicate these little buggers?

    Get thee to a veterinarian!

Have them do a fecal so you actually know what you're dealing with, and then give him any prescribed medications for the indicated length of time.

OTC worming meds are a real crap shoot

    (OMG I kill myself)

take a fecal sample into the vets - get a proper diagnosis of what parasites he has (he probably has more then you can see) and treat him properly

Go to you vet and see what he has. But it sounds like tape worms and you can get meds from you vet. Tape worm's come from fleas or eating rodents.

Yes, please go see a vet as there are a number of parasites that can be causing him distress. It is very simple testing a fecal exam and medication. Good Luck..
