I think Cassie may have another UTI. But she doesn't have the symptoms...every once in a while after her first pee she will have a yellowish mucous discharge. She cleans herself after each pee but does not lick constantly. She looks like she is basically sitting to pee (very little clearance of the grass). I used a pool test strip to check her ph this morning...it was a little over 8.
I will taking her to the vet later this week. But after we finish the round of antibiotics what can I give her that will prevent them from reoccurring??
I'm not sure if it matters but she has taken Cephalexin and Baytril for the other UTI's.
Wipe her with a baby wipe after she pees. That should help keep the bacteria down.
Does she have an inverted vulva?
