    DefaultBirthday Today--Surgery Tomorrow

Today is my Baby Sandy's 8th birthday. We spent the last couple of ours at our lake. Her very favorite thing to do is dig rocks out of the lake. They are laying all over the place
She goes for surgery in the morning and I am praying that the lumps are just fatty tissue and the heavy breathing is simply overweight :embarrass:
She weighs 84 lbs, but she doesn't look fat.
Anyway, please keep Sandy in your prayers and I hope to post good news tomorrow. I just won't have it any other way

I just got back from the vets. No surgery. She saw a spot on her foot and decided to send the x-ray off to Louisville, Ky to have a surgeon look at it. She said lots of dogs get tumor on the bone in their foot and have to have some of it amputated. She did not want to stick a needle in her and draw fluid because if this was bad it would spread quickly if disturbed.
I was so shocked that I only heard about half of what she said. She is going to call me Monday when she gets the x-rays read from a surgeon. We put off removing the knots from under her arm since things may be worse than we thought. Also the heavy breathing may be worse than we had thought.
I just can't beleive it and I know others have gone thru the same thing. I pray it's just a scare and nothing else!
