    DefaultHe ate natural charcoal...

My 3 year old lab ate a few pieces of natural charcoal (Big Green Egg brand) yesterday afternoon. Everything was normal, he ate dinner last night and then threw up today at noon. Most of the charcoal appeared to have left his system. Then he threw up again after dinner but he seems to be acting normal. Not sure what to do or if this will just pass naturally. I can't seem to find any helpful info online since every search I do only talks about deactivated charcoal and how vets use it to induce vomitting. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

He's probably fine. I'd call the company just to be sure no chemicals were used. A long time ago, before health food stores and charcoal capsules, actual charred wood was used medicinally, for the same purposes that activated charcoal is used for.
