    Defaultaccidents after spaying

Is it normal for my dog to be peeing more than usual (and inside!). She was spayed yesterday and came home today.

Yup. She's probably still a little disoriented and confused from the anaesthesia and meds. Just try to keep a close eye on her and take her out more often than you normally would.

thanks for replying! it may have seemed a ridiculous question but it's something I haven't experienced before. she's much better! one more question, though...she also has a knot (lump, swelling)above her hip. I'm pretty sure that's where she received a penicillin injection...will that dissipate on it's own?

Molly did a big puddle that was the strongest smelling urine as soon as she came home. Its normal.

Probably, I've heard of dogs getting knots at vaccine sites and what not. I'd just keep an eye on it, and if it doesn't go down or gets bigger have the vet look at it when you go back to have her stitches taken out.
