Okay, Now I really know my two have been deprived. I never knew what a kong was until today. After $44.00 later, we now own two large size kongs. ;D
The pet store guy said put peanut butter in them. Any other suggestions :
I usually mix it up. I have used left over mashed potato, baby food, banana, ect. I mix it in with their kibble and stuff the kong and then I freeze them.
we fill Milly's with Kibble and cover just the end off with Peanut Butter. Takes her about half an hour to empty it. She only has a baby kong at the moment, but we'll be upgrading soon. She knows that when I take the kong inside it's going to get filled with something yummy and she starts doing her happy dance
lol I love the Lab happy dance!
Cade loves hers best as a bouncy toy to retrieve, more then an eating treat. I so want her to enjoy the goodies inside but she'll sit and expect me to throw...just like a good owner should.
damn expensive toy though :
If I put them on a grain free diet can I still put the peanut butter in the Kong ???
