Even at 7 months, Lexi has that mothering, protective instinct.

When I take the baby out in the stroller, she always places herself between the baby and anyone we met (especially other dogs)

When I wrestle with the baby, if she makes the wrong noise, the dog bites me until I stop.

    Good girl!

I think it's pretty common for them to be protective but I wouldn't want it getting to the point of biting someone. Is she just mouthing you or actually bitting? I would try to put a stop to that pronto either way.

Be VERY careful with this! Protective can easily turn to protective agressive.. It's not always a good thing. The dog may claim the baby as it's own and that is confusing and dangerous for th dog.
