    DefaultNutro puppy food

Gracie has been on Nutro ultra puppy food with no problems. She does get occasional diarrhea, but probably from something else she ate that she was not suppose to The woman at the pet store told me that Nutro was changing there formula, has anyone tried the new formula. I am still working on an old bag.

After the stuff that happened with Nutro during the pet food recalls, I would never buy another product that they make again.

What happened w Nutro recall. My old lab was never on Nutro so I am unaware of the recall. Can you fill me in and maybe recommend a good puppy/dog food.

I am NOT a Nutro fan. They used to be a food food and company, but they've lied to their customers one too many times for my liking. I personally would never feed their food if it were given to me for free.

I feed my puppies ProPlan chicken and rice puppy (NOT large breed) until they are 4 months old, then I put them on adult food. I require that my puppy buyers do the same. IMO, and granted this is for my own puppies, nothing grows a puppy like PP puppy does.

I used to feed Eukanuba Large Breed puppy, but I like what I get on PP regular puppy better.

Gracie is 7 mo old, would you recommend adult pro plan? Should I mix nutro I have left w the new food so it wont be such a change to her system?

I would, but do what your breeder recommended. If you switch to ProPlan, don't get the Shreds. Buy the ProPlan Selects chicken and rice.
