    DefaultHome made biscuits

Anyone have any receipes for homemade biscuits or treats that your dog actually liked?

Our neighbor gave Koda some welcome home gourmet dog cookies and they were really cute and she liked them. They came from a new "organic" animal bakery. ANyway I wanted to make some myself.

    For this recipe you need:
    400ml of water
    2 eggs
    50ml of olive oil
    50ml of fish oil
1 can of sardines or tuna

Mix all ingredients until you get a firmed mixture. Cut the dough in shapes you like. Bake it in the oven on the temperature of 180°
For 40 minutes. When they’re baked, leave them in the oven over the night so they could dry.

i made them and my dog liked them really much!
    enjoy!
p.s. later,i'll put few other recipes!

Here are a couple of good recipes. I also have a great recipe for "stinky turkey cheese balls" that I use for training. I'm out of town until after the 1st, so I'll post it when I get home.
I don't know how Koda is, but Brigetta has had a very sensitive stomach since she was a puppy, so she can only tolerate small amounts at one time of any treat.

I haven't given her a lot of treat, just one or two and she seemed fine with them. I just thought since I try and eat organic and feed my family stuff with nothing processed it would be nice to make her her biscuits and share with my neighbor dogs too.

I did find the fish oil tonight at the health food store I go to and a very small bottle was $20 and a larger one was $40

It's fun to make your own treats, and I'm sure your neighbor's dogs will be very happy! I hate that Brigetta's stomach is so sensitive...whenever I try something new, I give it to her on a Friday night, just case she has "issues", I know I won't have to go to work and leave her the next morning.
I'm also really big on feeding healthy- for myself and the dogs. Although the dogs have been eating better than me this holiday season

I may have an extra lab-forum cookbook around here, if you're interested. There are recipes for humans and dogs, alike.
