    DefaultThoughts on drool please

K, so everyone knows that Rhys isn't having a very good year.

Yesterday morning he started drooling, not a little bit and not when I am eating, which would be perfectly normal. Its not slimy, just kinda falls out of his face like a tap hasn't been turned off tightly.

I woke up this morning and there was a puddle where he had been laying.

Its like he ate a frog (he's done that before LOL) but where on earth would he get a frog under 8" of snow?

So do I bump up his appt for Thursday? or just let him wait it out. Still eating like a banchee. Just the drool.

    Oh no, poor Rhyser!!

I know that Henery will drool (if not food related) if he's not feeling well.

    How is he otherwise, Melissa?

Melissa, I don't know what to tell you, only that I remember Jordan drooled more when she was sleeping with her lymphoma towards the end. I'm not saying Rhys is getting close, two different cancers here, but I always remember that she would have big puddles wherever she was laying, and I really hope I didn't scare you, but I wanted to be truthful in my response too.

I always thought it was from the prednisone myself, and honestly, I should have asked the vet what was up but I didn't because I knew there was nothing to be done at any rate.

I hope for Rhys it's just because he has found a frog.

Lots of good thoughts for him Melissa.

Yeah, somehow he ate a frog, thats what I am going with.

I'll call the doc tomorrow morning. He's a bit off, but he over did it yesterday playing tug with Ruby.

He's mopey, but just scarfed down his din-din.

Well, since he overdid it yesterday playing in the snow, we could also go with he's really, really, really super tired and drools like an old man does when napping........ That makes perfect sense to me. Heck, I drool if I'm really tired and having a wicked powernap.

He's not doing so good. He's very mopey, which is unlike him, and he at first refused his food last night, then decided he wanted it.

This morning he refused it all together.

We're going to stop playing in the evening, because I think he is wearing himself too thin. Though he eats like a cow, he is so emaciated it hurts to look at him, and I want him to conserve energy, not burn it playing the snow.
