Our 6 year old female black lab has developed several grey patches around her eyes, on top of her head and neck over the past month. Is this normal? She is on pancrezyme.
My three year old chocolate has a really grey muzzle already and has for at least a year. I think each dog is different but I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Thunder is 5 and turning grey really really fast. Sometimes I swear I can see him turnng grey right in front of my eyes. I relate it to him being such a worry wart.
It's not the destination, it's the journey!
Rider is 4 and started greying at 12 months. (he's the chocolate in my signature)

another early greying chocolate here! Rocky has a grey patch on his chin (started before he turned two) and a few white specks on his chin.

A 6 year old going grey wouldn't even make me blink an eye. Doubt there is anything to worry about.
My boy started greying at two...he is five now and looks older than the neighbors mutt that is 7.

My chocolate girl also started around 2. I had her at work yesterday and someone suggested she was 6 or 7 years old. She is 4! I have noticed (especially here at the forum) a lot of chocolates greying early. I think every dog is different and probably also depends on the genes. I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as your pup is healthy and happy.
