just wondering if any one feeds there labs california natural dog food? is it a good everyday food
and what were the results for your dogs?
Sorry, I don't feed this food, but I did some look it up at it appears to be a "better than average" food. I would feel confident in feeding it.
I used to feed it and it is an excellent food with few ingredients. My mom still feeds it.
The puppy formulas they came out with are great too. However, when switching a pup to adult food IMO the CN is not high enough in protein at 21% for a growing pup. And seniors would not benefit from it either - need more protein to maintain muscle mass to support joints, tendons and ligaments.
i think bandit has allergies but he is also a big dog 126lb at 19 months had him checked for everything
by the vet including thyroide. vet dose not think he was overweight by to much. also giving him thyroid meds
to see if there is a skin issue.
Wow.............that is one big boy!
IMO I would rather try a food switch than put him on meds, especially since his thyroid panel came back normal.
Perhaps a grain free food would work for him. I use Natures Variety Instinct and all dogs do great.
