Oh boy… so yesterday evening I took Saba for a walk and he did his #2. No biggie. Except that something funky looking came out and I was a bit mystified… so I took a stick and poked around it, even lifted it to take a closer (stinky) look as I was a bit concerned… it turned out to be the plastic bubble that makes the squeaky noise in toys.. lol.. I noticed later at home that he ripped his big yellow duck and that’s why for the past 2 days the duck didn’t squeak (which I was thankful for, thinking he just punctured the squeaky with his teeth). Thank goodness they pass most of those things easily … because when I first saw it come out I’ll admit I got a little freaked out… ;-)
Did his poop squeak coming out?? :P
LOL.. naaah.. it was chewed up by then :P
Leave it to lab-owners to inspect poop! (I do the same!)

Are owners of any other breeds so involved with their dogs poop as Lab owners. We are sick. All of us.
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
Never know if you will find that missing ear ring.
I don't look as such, but when doing the pick up I often see bits of towel, paper, feathers or things attached. or coloured poop after eating a kids crayon.
Think Lab owners notice more because they eat anything and everything.
I agree.....we lab owners seem to always be looking in the poop. I was surprised to find 1/2 a Q-tip come out. I didn't even know it was eaten. The biggest surprise was finding a Barbie doll orange jacket come out in Molly's poop. I didn't know she ate it.
Maybe it is better we don't know some of the things they have eaten. :
Let see what have I found...
paper toilte piece
toilet paper piece
stuffing from toys
long pieces of grass
something colored still don't know
We have found wood pieces, lots of grass, a bread tie, a pair of knee highs (still rolled up together), fluff from tennis balls, and my personal favourite ... a piece of ribbon with the words "happy birthday"!
