    DefaultWe got Orijen

Sheesh, this food is more mysterious to get then the bones of King Tut.

Everywhere I went for 400km was either closed or didn't have it! LOL HOLY COW

So I picked up the one bag they did have and that will tide us over. I was going to special order a bunch, but its expirey had me worried, as it stands, I'll get 4 more bags in three weeks! YEAH.

    So excited!

I have heard good things about Orijen. It is one of the foods I am thinking of switching Breezy to. She's only 9 months old though, so is she still a bit young for Orijen?

they make a large breed puppy formula that i started to use at 12 months - then switched to adult formula at 15 months. My boy is not that big though - only 65 lbs at most.

    Yay!

Rocky seems to be doing well on it so far but it's wayyy too early to tell. It's been two weeks and I'm still at half and half (mostly because I started too early and want to finish the other food rather than throw it out - it's expensive as well!)

I find the food quite small (little pieces)!

There are actually quite a few places in Ottawa that sell it (and at different price points) so I'm lucky that way. But when I go back home I can't ask my parents to pick up a bag in advance (not sold there) like I used to

He has an ear infection or whatnot - hopefully this isn't food related (I doubt it - seems to have started just before the switch).

Did you check the store finder on the website Melissa? That's how I found ours.

It's funny how excited you get eh? I was gushing about it to a colleague and she stopped me and said frankly, "You're talking about dog food like it's better than sex." ;D

I'm glad I've found a bunch of other people that can get excited about dog food.

Yes, I used the store locator, and they just updated it. The one store in Windsor is where I got it, but it is special order.

I also shopped Chatham, Blenheim and London, all to no avail...

And isn't getting a desired dog food better then sex??? Hmph.

We're making the switch this week. I've found 3 shops within 15 minutes of home that have it, so between the 3, I should be okay supply wise. I hope.

Melissa, did you try the pet store in Sarnia on Exmouth street? I can't remember what it's called but I was in there on the weekend while at my mom's, and she has it.
