    QuestionFeet Chewing

Within the last two weeks, my 1 1/2 yr old has started chewing the tops of his feet. The knuckle area of his feet are completely raw. We have an older lab that has allergies, but he chews the bottom of his feet & his belly gets hot spots from time to time. I haven't seen him chew the top of his feet. Is is possible that this is allergies? He isn't chewing or scratching anywhere else. What can we do to ease his pain? Any thoughts or suggestions would be great. Thanks!

He might be allergic to something. I would check with your vet.

Wash his feet. Most of the time if they get pollen on there feet it makes them itchy so washing will help.
