    DefaultFrankie's poop

    Nice subject, huh?

Since on this new food (NB L.I.D. Venison & Sweet Potato), his poop has been perfect. And since he has allergies, we've been very strict with only giving him this food, as well as the same brand treats. No table scraps or anything else. Well this morning he had a bit of diarrhea and a big glob of mucous in the poop. Lastnight I gave him a piece of hotdog, maybe 1 inch worth. Would that have caused this?

Keep an eye on him, Derby had that problem with NB foods, even though he had been on it for 3 years. He no longer gets NB anything.

I'm thinking it could have been the hotdog, Amy. Or maybe he snagged a scrap of left overs without you knowing.

Perfectly normal today. When Derby had it, was it on and off or constant once it started after 3 years?

Once he started with it, it just got worse, mucus, blood, diarrhea several times a day.

I think it was the hot dog, Amy. That much spice and grease after being on a special diet was probably just too much for his system.
