Just an FYI, Honest Kitchen appears on this 2006 list of PETA supporters:

[quote]PETA would like to thank the following compassionate companies, which are members of our “PETA Business Friends” program. These companies are generous PETA and animal rights supporters.

I just emailed them. I will absolutely positively NOT purchase their products if they are PETA supporters in any way, shape, or form. Thank you.

OMG I didn't know that. I have fed Honest Kitchen from time to time as a supplement to kick up the kibble. Lately I have been buying Natures Variety Chicken/Turkey patties instead because of convience of purchase. I guess I will stick with the NV

Here's a clean link if you want to see the whole list (sorry I messed it up the first time, although clicking on it will take you to an "interesting" error page.)

They also appear on the 2004 "dishonor" roll.

Pardon my naivete, but fill me in on why PETA is bad?

Well, darn! I didn't know that they were PETA "supporters".

While I would prefer not to support PETA myself, I do use The Honest Kitchen foods and really love the quality, results and convenience. Since I just discovered the possible PETA link I’ll have to think about this before I officially decide to continue using them.

But, based on all the things I love about The Honest Kitchen and their products, I will probably continue to use their foods.

I am confused about why PETA is bad also. Maybe is it that their motives are good, but the way they carry them out is bad?
