So, Gus turned over a cup of white cheese dip from a mexican restaurant without us knowing and ate the entire cup! Does anyone know if this is harmful or any side effects we should watch out for??? This is a first, so please HELP!!!

DIARRHEA!!! Keep an eye on her. She may need to make a few extra potty breaks.

If he's old enough to have developed lactose intolerance (which many dogs do after a year of so of age), expect some temporary flatulence. :

Not sure I'd worry too much about it. Keep an eye on him/her. I would think cheese dip might cause some constipation as cheese tends to have that effect. Sam ate 3/4 of a pound of butter, foil and everything. It didn't even phase her (digestive system). We only noticed because it was missing.

Other than the runs, I think he'll be fine.

Well, it's been almost 24 hours and no side effects. He did poop once this morning like he always does and it was solid as usual. I guess with as much stuff as he's gotten his mouth on in the last 6 months cheese couldn't phase him. ;D
