    DefaultPoop and food digestion.

I have read that if the dog has a lot of poop it is because the food isn't being digested properly so many of the nutrients are lost.

    Is this correct.
Sometimes Ernie seems to have a lot.

Have to add. He is usually on raw, but I have feed a N.Z. natural kibble when I was on crutches, and when he was away.

    DefaultRe: Poop and food digestion.

I would have suggested a digestive enzyme but shoot, I'd think raw would take care of that. I use the Bac-Pak product by N-zymes (google them online). It has reduced my food needs significantly around here... a good thing when you've got 6 labs (plus a litter of 11)! -anne
