DefaultFirst time lab owner with yet another food question...

I've been a guest here for awhile and have received lots of information regarding foods, thus starting my adult cockapoo and Maltese on Kirkland's CR formula. My pup came to me with Kirkland puppy food and I have eased her over to Diamond LBP. She is now 11 weeks old and will need a new bag of food soon.

My first question is: should I expect her stools to be fairly firm and well formed at this point? If so, should I change her food now or wait another month or so?

Also, I was comparing the 2 dog foods and see that they are actually very similar:

    Guaranteed Analysis Diamond LBP
    Crude protein 27%
    Crude Fat 15%
    Crude Fiber 3%
    Moisture 10%
    Calcium 1.2%
    Phosphorus maximum 1.2%
    Phosphorus minimum 1.0%
    Zinc 150mg/kg
    Selenium 0.4mg/kg
    Vitamin E 150 IU kg
    L-carnitine 30 mg/kg
    Omega-6 2.2%
    Omega-3 .3%
    DHA .05%
    Calories 342 kcal/cup

    Guaranteed Analysis Kirkland Adult CR
    Crude Protein 26%
    Crude Fat 16%
    Crude Fiber 4%
    Moisture 10%
    Calcium 1.0%
    Phosphorus .8%
    Zinc 200 mg/kg
    Selenium .4 mg/kg
    Vitamin E 150 IU/kg
    Omega-6 2.5%
    Omega-3 0.4%
    Glucosamine 300 mg/kg
    Chondroitin 100 mg/kg
    Calorie Content 362 kcal/cup

Is the Diamond LBP really best for her or is the Kirkland Adult just as good?
    Thanks for your opinions.

The Kirkland Adult is fine. Plus its chicken and I prefer to start with chicken before feeding any other type of protein source. You might find the stools get firmer on the Kirkland due to the slightly higher fiber content.

I would go with Laura's advice, I would do the adult food.
