My pup Cooper hasn't peed in the house for the past month. Twice today he has come in from out side walked a few steps and peed? He know he is in the wrong because as soon as I yell his name he runs and hides in a corner.
Any reason he could be doing this? He has been so good up until now.
If he knew he was wrong he wouldn't have peed in the house. He ran because you scared him and yelled at him. The Best thing to have done would have been to say NO and picked him up and put him back up and outside. They won't necessarily be 100% housebroke this early. He's still a baby. I would recommend going out with him and waiting until you physically see him go potty, and then praise like crazy. Reinforce good behavior.

Dani's right. You probably want to give him a treat when he goes outside as well.
Thanks, he has been so good up until yesterday. It was his first accident in the house and I was shocked especially the second time. We have had snow since he was born and it has FINALLY melted. I was wondering if that may have confused him. This morning after his walk, he found a tiny patch of snow to pee on. :P
I keep forgetting how young he is, he has been so easy to train at everything.
