Hello all! We just got our second lab to play with our two yr old black male Kodi. Kaci is 11 weeks (choc) and we applied her first treatment of frontline plus to her back (between shoulder blades). Well we noticed after a couple hours a welt about the size and shape of half a golf ball where we had applied the frontline.
Has anyone ever seen a reaction like this to frontline or anyother flea and tic application? She is eating well and still her very playful self, and the welt is going down, I just wanted to see what you all have to say about this.
Thanks for any thoughts or info.
Yes this is the most common reaction to it, as long as it is going down and she is normal acting I sure things are okay.

Things seem to be going well, she is still acting her normal self and it is going down.
Thanks for the reassurance.

I would still call the company...this is the type of thing that they need to (and want to) know about their product, and something that they would never know if they don't hear about instances like this. They may also have suggestions as to how to prevent this in the future, though you may simply need to change to a different flea/tick medication. Good luck- glad things are getting back to normal!
