my dogs love licking the cups of yogurt when i'm done. i feed my lab and pwd nature's variety raw, and i'm wondering since they love yogurt, if i should let them have a few ounces of yogurt a couple of times a week?

i give Rocky natural yogurt for the pro-biotics in there twice a week (1 tablespoon).

I would just recommend keeping it natural, no artificial ingredients (such as splenda)

I give Oona a tablespoon of plain Dannon yogurt everyday with her breakfast to prevent UTIs.

    Nothing wrong with yogurt.

Yogurt is my favorite Kong filler...quick and easy, low fat and the dogs love it.

I'm a firm believer in giving yogurt to dogs. It is just as good for them as it is for us- as long as there are live cultures in it.

Like others said, plain yogurt is a big hit with the dogs. Which you already know. On days where Larry does not receive yogurt with his breakfast, he receives a children's probiotic chewable pill.

Yum- I second the recommendation for Stonyfield. I've hated yogurt for years and love this stuff!

How much yogurt do you all give?

I was giving about a tablespoon twice a week but I see I could be giving more (is there a limit on what is "not enough"?)
