    DefaultV-shape Body?

I realized my lab puppy, bailey, is really wide at the shoulder area, and really small after that, then goes wider (belly) and goes narrow again. If she were to stand up against something, she look like a V shape from the back. Is this how she should look?

And despite the really round belly, I can feel her ribs pretty easily.

I can't decide if I should feed more (given how narrow her body is compared to her shoulder) or to feed her less (given her really round belly).

    Advices? ???

oh no she was born Nov 4th.
I just ended up giving her 2 cups. bescause I wasn't sure how much to feed her. Turns out it was too much, but I didn't think much harm could be done.

It isn't very good for their joints, big-sized dogs are better to stay on the thin side and to grow slowly, I heard.

Oh misread. Mine is 7 week and 4 days old now, which is the same age as the day your puppy was taken. haha!

I still can't quite picture what you mean.

Can you post one from above and one from the side?

erm.. she looks like a typical puppy. i can't get her to stay, she likes to pounce on the camera or eat it down so i couldn't get a picture of her.

she was standing up, with her hands extended so it looks like her shoulders are huge but actually because they're stretched. if you can visualize.
