    Defaulttug of war mishap...

hello all, new to the forum. been reading for a while and just decided to register. lots of helpful info. on the board. thanks.

anyway, i was recently playing tug of war with my 4 month old black lab and pulled her lower left canine out :-[

vet said we'll keep an eye on it while the adult teeth come in and hopefully the new tooth will push out any remaining puppy tooth.

anybody else had this happen? should i worry since it was a puppy tooth? thanks in advance for any advice.

They usually start losing teeth around 4 months, through canines tend to be near the end of the process. I wouldn't worry about it, chances are it was loose anyway.

I agree, chances are the tooth was ready to come out anyway. When it comes to the tug ropes, the strings can get caught around your dog's teeth, so be careful and don't tug too hard!!
