    Defaultvery bad limp

    1. Last night Jake body slammed Jazzy and we heard Jazzy cry. She seemed fine, no limp.
    2. This morning she got up and was fine. DH let her outside, but didn't go out with her.
    3. She came in with a limp of the rear left leg. She will hop on three legs some of the time.
    4. She doesn't seem to be in any pain.
    5. When she lays down, I noticed she is mainly frog legged. I find this strange. She normally doesn't lay like this very often.

Being the weekend, I will keep her quiet and see what Monday brings.

Any suggestions? Anything I should do?

Keep her very quiet until Monday. When she goes out, make sure she's on lead. If its not a bit better on Monday, take her into the vet. She could have tore a cruciate when she was slammed. I hope not.

Thanks Laura, I'll do my best to keep her quiet. Might have to break out the crate.

I agree, lots of crate rest, and if she is still favoring that leg, I would take her to the vet and have them check the cruciate.

I hope it's just a bad sprain. Poor Jazzy.
