I was reading another tread about ringworm and had a question. Mambo had a very itchy spot on him. I thought maybe ringworm, but couldnt tell. We took him to the vet. They called a few days ago to say it wasnt ringworm. But I noticed I have a ringworm now. Could the test had been wrong?

I am sure what I have his ringworm. SInce I adopted a few cats from shelters I got to know alot about it quickly.

I know you said you know about it, but I thought I would post this in case someone else wsa reading it and didn't know exactly what ringworm was....

Just because your vet said it WASN'T ringworm, doesn't mean he was right. Vets can be wrong too. Get a second opinion. Might be time for a new vet. I had a vet that told me Maddy didn't have ghiardia, and I knew she did. Changed vets, they confirmed and gave me the right meds.
