Thanks to everyone for the advice, Murphey did have a serious obstruction. He'd swallowed my daughters underpants, and it lodged in his small intestine, requiring a bi-section that has cost him about a foot of his intestine. Vet says another day might have caused him to rupture. He'll be in the clinic until Saturday at least, if there's no sign of Peritonitis. He's also got round worms, likely from the dog park, so all in all, my boy is not having a good week...
