Any one heard of Merrick before or used it. They have "wild version" that has not off the scary allergy things listed on the label. With the rest looking like realy good ingriedients. Maybe I am tired or maybe I am brave, but I am going to try to give Lya a little with each meal this week.

Just be aware that Merrick has had quality issues. They had to recall food previously.

Cinnamon wouldn't eat it. When I was changing her food to try to find something she liked the feed and seed where I buy me food was very helpful. They gave me samples of about 8 different foods they sold to see which one she prefered the taste of. She is not a great eater to begin with and if she didn't like the taste she would go a couple of days between eating. So you might want to try a small bag first.
I have used the canned version with my 2 who get a little canned with their meals. I like the ingredient list and it's done well by them.
Thanks for the feedback! This will be slow going. First I have to see if it will cause her ears to break out. Then we go from there.

I just started giving my 3 Merrick canned with Canidae dry. They love it and I haven't had any problems. (No Allergies that I know of though)
Merrick has some fine products.. Here is the link for the recall http://www.merrickpetcare.com/swf/letter.html
The processor did not remove metal tags from kosher chicken, you be the judge as to you wish to try the food after reading the notice
Wing a Ling is Maddy's favorite too. Never found a tag in it, especially around the recall time. I wouldn't stop feeding based on this issue.
nether would I. If fact, in a strange way it says to me that they use quality chicken in their food.
I used Merrick with my older lab and she did quite well on it.
