    Defaultmy dog and toots

my dog is letting some silent but deadly ones the last few days. To the point where it makes me gag. We don't allow him to eat human food, he eats Purina One Puppy Chow(dry) and that's it. Any ideas?? He is just 9-10 weeks old. Is this normal at this age?

You may want to look into feeding a higher quality food. My basic rule of dog food is if you can buy it from a grocery store - don't.

All of my labs wre notorious "gassers", and Riley still is occasionally (you know your in trouble when even the dog gets up and leaves the room)!! Especially when young like that. If its not a constant problem, I wouldn't worry too much.
I am not a big fan of the Purina Puppy Chow, talk to your vet about reccommending a different food!

Vets know little about nutrition. Some will try to sell food they carry, which is very expensive.

Well, glad it's not just my dog that is having problems with passing gas. I guess that just means that everything in there is working fine. Now if they could just make it ordorless. (holds nose)

I don't think it means everything is working fine, I think it means something isn't agreeing with them. My dogs never have gas.

Are you giving any treats? Maddy gets some noxious gas when she gets cheese as treats.
