I took Mambo the the pool this weekend. He was running around like crazy. But now he is limping. Cant really tell from what. Looks like its his back left leg. I was going to watch it for a couple days, or should I take him to the vet? He is still playing, jumping. Even though I am trying to make him rest.

Am I a bad mommy for waiting or should I take him in? His leg is not swollen from what I can tell.

Is he only putting light pressure on his leg or is he putting NO pressur on his leg?

He is putting full pressure on his leg. He is jumping around. Standing on his back legs only..

Funny part is, he limps around when I am looking, but I keep catching him jumping on and off bed, outside, and I dont see the limp.

I think it bothers him, just not enough to make him stop playing. Seems like his leg is kinda stiff.

Poor Mambo! Hope he feels better soon. Others may have better advice, but when I've been in that situation, unless my girls are noticeably in pain of the leg is swollen, I usually watch them for 24 hours.

Labs have a high threshold for pain. I would limit the dog's activities for a day or two to allow rest...NO JUMPING!!! Only outside for potty, and that's on a leash. If the limp persists after that, I would take him to the vet.

I would have crate rested him - walks outside to potty on a leash only and then back to the crate. After a couple of days then see how he is.
