    DefaultGrowling tummy

hehe...I asked this before too but got one response :P

This morning and then tonight I noticed that after Buck ate his meal and had some water...he layed down for a belly rub...that's when I noticed his stomach was growling and making noises...I mean my own stomach makes these noises sometimes and it's usually when I am hungry. Why is his growling? Does this happen to any of your labbies???

Does he need more food? He doesn't look like he needs more food. He gets 2 cups of food and gets treats through out the day...for training purposes.
The growling isn't something bad is it??

This happens after a meal, right? I can imagine that he is just digesting the food. If Buck eats as fast as my Labs, its not surprising it hits their stomach hard!

yeah it's after a meal and he definitely does eat fast! I just never heard it before...so I wanted to make sure it wasn't something bad. I split his meal up in small portions because of the fast eating. I figure small amounts eaten real fast is better than large amounts...

Once in a while I hear it in between meals too.

Amber and Echo suffer from growling tummy once in a while. They eat far to quickly but we have changed to bowls that are a few feet off the ground. This aids their digestion.

Sometimes if they have been out for a walk and picked up the odd meal of discarded bread or crab apples they sometimes start making the most horrendous noises in their tummies. They do not seem to suffer and it soon goes.

I would not worry too much.
