    Defaultcloudy eye

My 4 year old black lab has a cloudy spot on her eye. It doesn't seem to bother her, but I think it may be getting larger. Is it time for a vet visit or should Iwait and see what happens?

It is advisable to have it looked at by a specialist, as you could be dealing with a cataract.

If it's on the cornea, it could be a scratch. I would have your vet check it out.

The cloudiness is on the cornea. It actually looks like it could be simply wiped away. I'll have the vet check it out. Thank you.

Most likely corneal dystrophy, mineral deposits in the cornea. Not much can be done for them. It could also be a build up of choloesterol, which can be cleared up by a change in diet. If you have veterinary othamologist in your area, bring her in for a look.
