Chase knows all about those annoying fatty tumors... at last count, she's the proud owner of 18 of the pesky little things!* :P*

(All have been checked by our vet and are not cancerous.)

Sounds like the end of the "floating" rib. Perfectly normal.

At 8 months, a little young for a lipoma.* Agree with Dogmom about the FLOATING RIB.

Sometimes(rarely though) when Millie eats or drinks I notice these small little things stick out on the end of her ribs, would these be "floating ribs"?I have been thinking perhaps they were her wings beginning to grow* :P

Has he had any shots lately? Mocha developed a knot much like you described after a vaccination. The vet said it was a reaction to the shot he gave and to put a warm compress on it and it should go down. Mocha's didn't but I won't get into that.
