    DefaultItchy Rash on Puppy

    Hi
I have a 8 week old yellow lab.* She has rised bumps and it is very itchy, it started on her belly and is now on her back and neck.*
The vet prescribed 14 days antibiotics, (correction) Clavamox 125mg (it's been 4 days), an antiseptic wash for the irratated areas and a shampoo Olilano, for itchy skin.
Someone suggested I give her Benadryl (child formula) but nothing seems to be working yet!*
    She is still scratching...*
Sounds like the same problem as "Baxter",
Will the antibiotics work eventually?* Is there other itch relief that I could use for her?
    Thanks... ???

I think you have been in the post about Baxters rash.

Another idea is food allergy. Ernie was very itchy. He didn't have the raised bumps though. I tried everything with Ernie and he got so bad he didn't stop itching. I took him off dried food and he is much better.

Otherwise it could be pollen or grass. Kassa used to have a big problem with wet grass. I used medicated shampoo on her and kept her dry. Her mouth would get raised itchy bumps so I dried her mouth every time she ate. After this she was fine.

Thank you, I am bringing her to the vet this morning, for the second time...I will mention the medicated shampoo.* We went camping and she got this rash after the fact.* Our site was sand covered, maybe ants?
The antibiotics are not working and the poor little thing needs some relief.
