    DefaultCranberry pills as a preventative?

I was reading the thread Dakotas Mom started regarding cranberry pills for Dakota's vaginitis problem and I was wondering if I should start Brigetta (5 1/2 months) on cranberry pills to help prevent vaginitis or a UTI since she is crated during the day and has to hold her pee (I know that doctors say in humans they should not hold it especially if you are susceptible to UTI's- I don't know if the same applies for dogs) or should I just leave it alone since she hasn't had any issues (fingers crossed). Thanks!

my thought is it can't hurt and it's not too expensive! I've heard of breeders starting their pups on it.
