My aunt, who lives in Michigan, uses it for her Labs. One of them is suspected to be allergic to lamb products, so the vet suggested she switch to this dog food. It seems to be working well for the allergy. That's all I can say about it; I don't use it personally.

I really like Solid Gold products. I tried the Wolf King but my dogs needed a bit more fat. It is very good for dogs suspected of food allergies.

I have fed Solid Gold products for the past 9 years and am/have been pleased with the results; I do add a short tsp. of flax oil to each meal.

I switched Shadow to Solid Gold Wolf King a little over a year ago and have been very pleased. I add Missing Link Plus, which has the extra omega oils and glucosamine.

I use SolidGold...but the Wolfcub...I was pleased with it's results. Once Buck's old enough the plan is to switch to Wolf King

Thanks for the replies. We switched over due to significant allergies and so far so good! ;D

We have also switched Baxter to solid gold LB puppy to eliminate a food allergy as well.
