    Defaultswimming with a ear infection!?!?

I took Guinness to the vet last week & as it turns out the "gunk" in his ear is a yeast infection. So, he has been prescribed Otomax. I'm wondering if it's ok for him to go swimming right now or if he should stay out of the water until he's finished with the prescription? He's supposed to be on the meds for another 10 days. Is it safe to let him into the water? Or will it just aggravate his ears more?

I would stay out until the ear is clear. Any water that gets in the ear will only feed the infection.

I agree --keep him out of the water. Often its the water that causes the infection in the first place.
