Besides bad breath* ;D* ...
Seriously, Sami has developed a taste for Canadian Goose and Deer Poop.* We're often off-leash in the woods and she'll have a little snack before I even realize it.* So, my question is ... what can she get from this?* Worms ... or something worse?*
Tapeworm and coccidia from the bird feces.

Well thanks for the forewarning!
Ah yes...coccidia, and the lovely diarrhea that goes along with it. Tucker had a spell of it last summer. I felt sooo bad for him. The vet treated it, but warned us that since we're surrounded by fields and the delightful things he sometimes munches on, he'll probably get it again.
We were down at the creek today and*I kept noticing Sami going over to a rock that was a few feet out but in the water.* I got closer and discovered it was her goose poo stash!* GAG!Originally Posted by Djc1249
Tucker's in the fields a lot......his morsel of choice is rabbit poop. For a while, I thought he was eating berries from a bush. :
Yuk! Reba too has a rock in the middle of our creek that the birds use for a bathroom and Reba cleans it.
What about coon poop? Someone told me that they could get some type of neurological/ paralysis or something awful like that.

My vet calls rabbit poop the caviar of dog treats! Said if only us humans would bring it in and use it to train our pups we could have them doing anything we wanted! That said I am still attempting to train "LEAVE IT!" with the poop (only rabbit, she leaves all others alone) as we have rabbits all over our yard! I have her checked for worms every 3 months or so, so far we are ok. Vet said worms is the biggest worry with poop eating!Originally Posted by Djc1249
I give Oona Drontal Plus every six months because of this bad habit of hers. The deer feces is really bad stuff.
