    Default"Pikes surgery

Our 8 yr old male lab had surgery yesterday ...HE had a small reddened area around anus and It was a small anal sac tumor which Vet said looked very benign. *He also had
a wart removed from his head and teeth cleaning under anesthesia. * He came home 4 hrs later and the vet said he should be on a water restriction because of anesthesia and possible upset tummy; * It has been pathetic. * He had a shaved reddened area on his butt. *looks like one of those monkeys with the red rears, and the stitches on his head look so painful. *He is on Rymadyl and an antibiotic...but he is so out of sorts. *He follows me where ever I go and seems so fearful. * Stitches come out in 2 weeks...ugh. * *We are watching him like a hawk and he hates the collar. * so wish us luck.. *just wanted to share
