We had a dog with a brain problem but she was a senior. We ended up putting her to sleep.

Your dog is young, some tumors can be removed and they can still live.

I'm sorry, you must be worried sick. I know this is a couple of days late but how much anaesthia has she been through already? Anaesthesia is very well monitored and much safer than it was 20 or 30 years ago.

How soon would you be able to get an MRI done? I know human people might often have to wait months, unless it's an emergency. If your Vet finds a brain tumour what does he think the prognosis will be then? Ssurgery on her skull? What are success rates and how many such of whatever he proposes has he done before? Would you be referred to a specialist? Would it be far away?

She's so young, age would definitely influence my decison. Good luck with your decision.

Unfortunately we had to put her to sleep this morning. Thanks for your concern

So sorry....we lost a 4 yr old female suddenly, probably a cerebral hemorrhage. It's never easy to go through, especially when the dog is young because you don't expect it. Give yourselves time to grieve and welcome a new pup when you're ready.
