Tips to make kibble more interesting?
Hello everyone. Merry Christmas!
I live in India with my 2 year old lab, Bonda. So far, he's mostly been on home-cooked beef and rice and Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream for a few months in between. But I thought his hair has been falling out more than before and his coat seemed dry and lustreless to me. Also, he seemed a bit skinny to me (although he weighs 35 kg; he's a tall fella). So I've switched from rice & beef to Solid Gold Sun Dancer for the past couple weeks. Solid Gold is the only quality dry food available where I live; TOTW used to be shipped in from the US but not anymore.
Thing is, Bonda has been eating his Sun Dancer kibble pretty well for the past week or so but not as enthusiastically as I'd like him to. I sometimes soak it in warm water to soften it and add an egg or some chicken gravy to it sometimes, just to interest him more. Is it common for labs to get bored of eating the same kibble morning and night? Should I add/ sprinkle something on his kibble? Thanks in advance!
