Now I am wondering if there was something wrong with her stomach.
I picked up a new bag of dog food for Katie last Monday. She has been on this same food for quite a while (Wellness Senior). I finished the old bag on Tuesday. Started the new bag on Wednesday. She really hasn't been interested in the food-----AT ALL. This is so not my hoover. She will knock you over to get to her bowl. I have put the food in her bowl, she looks at it and walks away. I put green beans in it or yogurt and she eats them but leaves the food. Eventually she decides to eat the actual dog food.
This morning I put a half cup of the food in the bowl and she is looking at it like it has aliens in it or something. I say---go ahead eat your food----she looks at the bowl, looks at me and backs away from the bowl and stomps her feet (yeah she does that like a 2 year old).
So I take the food and dump it in a cereal bowl and look at it. Can't see anything wrong with it. I have a back up bag of dog food that I use when I run out of her regular food. I gave her a scoop of that and she damn near ate the bowl too.
I am wondering if I got a bad bag or stale bag and she knows it.
I am at a loss here. Maybe it wasn't her legs after all and she really did have a stomach ache but just not bloat. She is still acting a little weird but anywhere near the way she was Thursday night.
I wouldn't feed her any more of that bag. I think she's trying to tell you something.
My first thought was listen to Katie. Their noses are so much more sensitive that ours and something may be wrong with that bag of food. Hope that is all the problem is.

I agree with the others, here, Nancy.
Not only that, I would let the manufacturer know.

Take it back where you bought it. Look at the lot number and see if you can get a bag from a different lot number.
Ditto on all previous comments.
PLEASE* jot down and keep the lot # and any other identifying info and call the toll free # of the mfr and ask them.
They should be VERY interested in your experience. If not....... :'(
