My lab, Lassen, is 18 months old and I recently found these lumps on his testicles. I have taken him to the vet twice and they have told me its nothing to worry about, he probably just bit himself and caused a hematoma; but I know my dog and he does not 'nip' at his testicles. Has anyone ever seen this before? It's not normal to have lumps on testicles but because they are identical it seems a little less weird.
Im hoping everything is ok.

Is your vet knowledgable in reproduction? Are you planning on neutering? Where are you located?
I have not seen or heard of lumps like these before. I would get a second opinion... I know you said you've taken him to the vet twice already but did you see a different vet? I would keep pushing for answers and not just accept 'he probably just bit himself' especially if you know this not to be the case.
I would be looking for a vet who wants to try a course of treatment or take a biopsy, not just fob you off with a lame sounding excuse.
I have to agree. I'd get a second opinion.
My Lab is smarter than your honor student.

Thank you guys! I'll try a different vet and let you know!
Actually it's normal. My dogs all have that "lump".
Here is a photo off Yahoo...a deformed testicle and a normal one. See how the normal one has the smaller "lump" on the edge.
