DefaultTess has red spots on the tips of her top teeth.

Has anyone seen anything like this before. Looks like a bone cut in half and you can see the middle

I have googled and can't find anything on it. A few weeks ago I noticed it and meant to ask the vet, but forgot.

That's what it sounds like to me. I would take her to the vet, that can be quite painful. Is she eating normally?

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

Sounds like pulp (nerve) exposures. Is she in any pain?

She is eating like a pig and doesn't seem in pain. I thought something like that too and thought she would be in pain. Yesterday she crunched up a dental floss and a few weeks ago found her crunching on some broken china. The dog walker says she often chews on wee rocks, but I have never seen her do that. Not sure she would eat those things if her teeth were sore.
    Odd..

Sounds like the teeth being worn down to me also. I think that if the wear is gradual enough, that the tooth nerves gradually die back. Not like if the tooth were suddenly broken. Most of my eight year olds have the same "red spot" on a tooth or two

    Thank you Karen.
Tess is on all the top front ones. Can't see the back ones. She is 6. Did you just leave them or do I need to see the vet?

Ernie doesn't have any spots. I checked in case it was something normal I had missed.
